Forums - General - Who else is in the same megastar league as Michael Jackson....

We can add Jesus, man, he IS the biggest star this world ever saw, even 1976 years after his death his is polemical, have the hugest fanbase ever(1.5 billion alive, it could reach the 50 billion mark if we count the dead), people go listen history about him every week and many to this every week for the whole life. I don't think people will listen Michael Jackson music 1976 years after his death.

To be fair the queen is FAR bigger than Michael Jackson. In 500 years no-one will know of Michael Jackson, but a good chance exists of people talking about QEII as a part of history, like we do about Victoria or Elizabeth I.

Music wise I would say that the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Elvis Presley *Sigh*, Frank Sinatra, Queen.

In all fields I would say that people like Charles Darwin, Sir Isaac Newton, Plato, Stephen Hawking, Julius Caesar, Napoleon, Nelson, Watson and Crick, Niels Bohr, Marilyn Monroe, Henry VIII, William Shakespeare, Terry Pratchett, Charles dickens, etc... Are all far bigger figures in history than Jackson.

Mind you Jackson did have a huge impact on the world and he has left a legacy.

If we talking history then I would also say  Hilter, Stalin, Heney VIII.  But in entertainment no-one is bigger than jackson.

as i remember, i believe the ONLY thing we know for certain about a man name jesus christ is that he was crucified by the romans, we dont know why or who he was or anything about his life, we have only a very old book to go by on that, a book that also says donkeys can talk.

just so were clear here, untill we have evidence that he did great things, he is famous because someone wrote a fictional book about him. (the bible shall be considered fiction untill it can be proved beyond doubt)

Boy, I really liked you. But anyway, even we don't knowing nothing for sure about him he has all the fanbase and posterity that any other star had.
