What is the chance of the entire shipment of Wii-Motion+ being faulty, it would seem unlikely to me. I do agree that there has to be some other explanation (besides them all being crap at the game). Are there any other Brits out there who have played this game online? Have they had a similar experience to the person spoken of in the OP? Are the stats faulty?
What about the problem that Eurogamer had with not having updated firmware compatible with WM+. I know that was a debug kit but is it possible that the Brits are lacking a firmware update?
Then again statistics can be used to prove anything

BTW, even though I am American I do not care for Roddick at all and am not happy that he won. He pouts every time that he doesn't get his way. He gives Americans a bad name and makes us look like spoiled brats IMO.
