The relative cost of the 360 is less, and that's a factor in why it's outselling the PS3. You don't go to Wal-mart and see an Arcade selling for $500. The immediate cost is what's helping the 360. But when you take into consideration the absolute cost, how much money you have to pay to fully enjoy your system, then it's more expensive. People just don't seem to care about that, as long as they can have the console in their homes initially for a lower price.

When will the Sony boys learn that the PS3 is selling PATHETIC for being HALF THE PRICE of the Xbox 360? THEY SHOULD JUST GIVE UP, because no price cut is going to save their ebony machine from its certain fate! Its time to FACE FACTS people! The Xbox 360 is selling because people want it, and thats something Sony has simply failed to do. Every time I see someone whining about sales, I think about comparisons like this which PROVE BEYOND DOUBT that the XBOX 360 is simply the better console. BETTER CONSOLE!

And why is it a fanboy written article just because he thought about long term costs? I can either buy a Honda for $1000 straight up right now that works perfectly, or I can buy an old Buick for $600, even though I'll have to eventually buy a new transmission, constant tune ups, pay for body repair (it's $600, so it looks beat up and tattered), etc. The Buick may seem cheap now, but the costs will add up eventually. That's fanboyism?

For startes $299 isn't the cheapest 360, nor is $49.99 online, 3 year warranty? meaning you're VERY unlikely to shell out anything fixing your 360. More so your PS3 that has a standad warranty.

The whole artical is BS and if you believe it then it doesn't say much about you, the fact very few places sell the WA for that price also goes against his point.
