DS is casual.....PC is dying....and PSP suck?

Kantor you are a moron. I dont care if thats ban worthy.

Btw "You're on the list"

Here's an idea. Read the whole post before making judgements about my intelligence.

I was saying that is how the average small stupid reviewer who wastes time making these lists that nobody reads or cares about thinks. The Wii counts, the DS is not casual, PC gaming is only increasing in popularity, and the PSP has a lot of quality software. Happy?

Edit that out quickly before you do get banned.

Kantor is being silly. He is speaking ot represent the people making these lists. He is showing how silly they are.

@ Kantor: Yes I expect them to recognize Scribblenauts because it is that awesome. My faith is unwavering.

And I don't own a PS3, what the Hell do you WANT me to say? Also: never played an R&C for long enough to pass judgment.

I wasn't actually intending to pull people down there, which is the funny thing. I felt a bit like Rol for a moment. Except he does it on purpose.

No review site that hasn't reviewed a DS game is going to put a DS game on an anticipated list, no matter how awesome/original/exceptional it is. The sooner you understand that, the better. It's a sad world

And I acknowledge that you don't own a PS3 (which puts you on the list anyway ), but crossing out R&C is just mean

I mean, you wouldn't cross out TLG, would you? Or GoW3?

I hate sarcasm.......my apologies. I swear to god I read that differently because I made sure to read more than just that.

Anyways not important now that dick image I made is permanent.

@OP
Wow that list is bland. All great games by themselves, but except for Forza they all derive from the shooter game. At least Uncharted is adventure shooter.

It looks like AAG likes shooters.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

I would cross out all 3.... R&C because I was never really a fan of platformers (I only played SM64 for the first time this gen having been put off playing other platformers... Mario platformers it seems are in a different league, I have played 2 different R&C on PS2 and wasn't impressed)

GoW3 because again that type of game doesn't interest me, I was confused about people getting excited about project H.A.M.M.E.R. then dissapointed when it was canned.... it looked as dull as anything to me.

The Last Guardian I think I would not cross out if I knew more about it, all I have seen is that trailer video.

----

You can't expect others to like all the games you like... I wouldn't be suprised if you crossed out say Endless Ocean 2, but it would be at or near the top of my list.

Why do you insist on rating games that haven't come out yet?

But yes, do go ahead, tell me fifteen games coming out this year that I should be more excited for that NSMBW, LKS, and Muramasa.

Here:

Alpha Protocol

Now you only need fourteen.

Because we know things such as Modern Warfare 2 and Bioshock 2 are going to be good. Anyway:

Assassin's Creed 2, Bayonetta, Demon's Souls, if it's as much like GoW as people say, then Dante's Inferno, Saboteur, King of Fighters XII, MAG, Max Payne 3, NFS: Shift, R&C: A Crack in Time, Singularity, Dark Void, potentially Splatterhouse if it doesn't keep switching publishers, Tekken 6, WET, sure why not? Alpha Protocol lol, Batam: Arkham Asylum, Brutal Legend, Dragon Age, L4D2. Dare I say...NCAA Football 2009 (I'm a college football fan), since it's not even on the Wii? Wolfenstein HD......oh my, look at me. There were so many great games coming out that I forgot that my limit was 15.

Remember though, the 5 listed are probably just the biggest games being released for the remainder of 2009...and they are far bigger than the ones you listed. You may be anticipating them for the remainder of this year, but according to them, they are the top 5 out of EVERYTHING...and they're pretty spot on

Sorry, I asked you to name the ones I should be more excited for. I crossed out the ones that failed to qualify.

As to the bolded: you expect any of the games listed except for a Call of Duty maybe to be bigger than New Super Mario Bros.? You have to be joking.

It's my understanding that you don't own a PS3 now (maybe not even a 360), so I guess it's expected for you to not be excited about those games (my bet fails lol). But I would say, generally, that those games were bigger.

And sure, saleswise, none of those games, except maybe MW2, will be "bigger than" NSMBW (I'm assuming that sales is what you're judging the term "big" to be), but then....that would mean that the back catalog of all three systems have the majority of their greatest games...not "bigger" than Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games

If you're not judging "big" by sales....then I don't know wtf you're talking about if things like Bioshock 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Tekken 6, Batman, etc. aren't bigger than a 2D side scroller

No love for 2D games? Then I guess hardcore gaming really is dying...:P

And yet none of those game even remotely interest me.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

For those that are bitching. Remember some of these things please before you continue. Sales are not the same thing as quality. We all know this for a fact. Great games go on to have mediocre sales, while some lower quality games sell shit loads. Reputation matters and hopefully it will always matter. It serves to encourage developers to make better games. They deserve the boost. Just as much as the developer deserves their sequel to a shitty game to get little or no attention. Portable games deserve to be excluded, because they are not the pinnacle of the genre. In the same way a made for TV movie is not in the same league as a Hollywood blockbuster. To get it on a portable certain things must be lost.

This thread is just full of poorly constructed belly aching. Red Steel 2 are you shitting me I have not heard anyone talking about this game, and I know a lot of people that own the console. This one is not even on the radar. The same with the new Mario game. In fact I would dare say that this generation has probably already seen its premier title in this specific genre. That would be LittleBigPlanet. I really enjoyed Assassins Creed, but even I freely confess the replay is quite lacking. In other words the first game had some real problems. Specifically the poor controls.

All in all this was a good list. Games that are expected to be of a high caliber. They are both very popular and have a reputation for pushing the envelope. So what is all the bitching about.

Because there's not a Wii game on the list...simple as that. As of late, with posters saying nothing but how the media is biased against the Wii, I dare say that they'd go as far as saying that if those 5 games WERE on the Wii, they would then not make the list because everyone is a "Wii Hater"
