Really? I thought Minish Cap was very easy. I beat it without every dying to a boss or enemy. The only times I died were foolish mistakes of my own. I never use walkthroughs. Well that's not completely true. When hunting for things in Final Fantasy games that I want specifically (like weapons) I'll use walkthroughs. Zelda games though I avoid them on general principle.

Yeah I have played and beaten all 3 Phoenix Wright games and they are all great. Apparently Ace Attorney 4 though is really bad, which is disappointing.

Lol... I feel nab now =/ ... The problem I usually had with Minish Cap was not knowing where to go next, but then, before Minish Cap, I hadn't touch a game for ages except mmorpg.

Sound like it's not a good idea to get Phoenix Wright 4 then... It's a shame because I kinda wanna see what Maya can do after her training... Since the other Phoenix Wright are only in Japanese (if im not mistaken), I'm not going to get them. ;_;

Anyway, I gotta learn how to organize schedule or setting up time to do something... It's 2:30 AM now, slept at 4 AM yesterday, and I haven't watch anime or playing game for a while. <.< I make plan to learn Graphic Editting but haven't touch that yet either. I know it's nothing concerning you or anyone but I won't feel better without telling the world about it lol. XD And since you know how to do graphic editting I feel like telling you that, without any apparent reason...

Yes, I'm pretty weird.

Ace Attorney 1-3 are all in English.  Ace Attorney 4 hasn't made it to America yet, but Phoenix isn't the main character in it (the new one is named Apollo Justice) and Maya doesn't show up at all.  Apparently it just doesn't have the great characters the other 3 games do.

Wait... so if it has only been released in Japan, how do you know about how good it is? Or are you able to understand Japanese?

So Justice for All is the Ace Attorney 2 ... I was thinking it was the 4th one lol. I've read somewhere there were Phoenix Wright in GBA before and I thought you were numbering them accordingly to how many games in Japan there were. Obviously, I didn't try finding any info on it so it turned out I understood everything wrong. I actually thought there were only two Phoenix Wright games in the US ... Glad there are more than that.

I'm an ALIEN!!!! - officially identified as by Konnichiwa

Of course... My English is still... horrible - appreciation and thanks to FJ-Warez

Picked this game up today. I am in the 2nd temple right now. So far it is fairing pretty easy, but do remember it is the beginning of the game and I've worked my way through 7+ Zelda games. So far it is tons of fun. I really cannot complain about anything at this point. The music is nice, the controls are very good and you can tell this has been built for the DS. If you own a DS, I would go buy this game.

Gyakuten Saiban 3, has English option.
Basically, the English version of Phoenix wright just rip the Jap text out. I think that's the same thing happened in the previous 2?

Anyone noticed the text used in the 3rd game? It seems like it was translated by Canadians. At least, from what I notice from all the text.

That last case was super long, I think it took me around 15-20 hours over the course of 2 weeks to finish that last chapter.

No, I don't speak Japanese.  I just know because everyone who does speak Japanese and has played it hates it.  AA 1-3 have all been released in America now.  AA3 was released very recently, but I had already imported it and played it.  The Japanese versions have the full English localizations in them.

Galaki, no the text in the 3rd game (if you import) is a full localized translation.  Jokes and all are adjusted for the American audience. It's not just a rip from the Japanese text.  Anyway, I loved AA1-3.  It's one of my favorite series of games of all time, but AA4 is apparently something fans of the first 3 should avoid at all costs.

Awesome game. Love the stylus-only control. The only move I had trouble pullin off was the roll, until I figured out that you have to draw the circles at the edge. Not easy to pull off without a running start.

That said, every single input of the stylus translates perfectly well. It has never confused one command with another.

The only time it there is a hiccup, not problematic, is when I am moving Link and pointing near the edge of the screen. If I move to the left or right quickly near the edge, it registers a roll.

It doesn't confuse commands, but seems to pick up the roll by mistake. Thats it.

Another feature I am surprised with is the microphone. It actually tells the difference between blowing and yelling. I have played many games were either one will acomplish the same task. However, I screamed at a candle as loud as I could and it just would not blow out. Very impressive.

I finished the first dungeon-the boss was quite a puzzler. Loving the game.

http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=7925 a Wi-Fi battle topic if anyone is interested in giving the multiplayer a try.

i have trouble with the roll too. Any tips on how to pull that off easier?

It needs to be easier for me to bang some trees. (No, not that kind of banging)

When you're moving just move the stylus to the edge of the screen so it taps the edge. Keep the stylus on the screen when doing this. The thing with making circles is just needlessly wrong.
