Review scores have nothing to do with it. Lazy devs don't put the effort into the Wii versions because they think they don't have to. There are exception though like Godfather Blackhand and Tiger Woods 10 where gameplay makes all the difference in making a Wii game better. Sure the better graphics are missed but gameplay is where its at.
Oh and NMH is an awesome game and underrated. It is very much like Shadow of the Colossus or a Zelda game where the boss battle and story are just amazing and epic but the game in between is bland. People with small attention spans give up before they ever get to the greatness.

Add Godfather Blackhand, Scarface (although many reviewers failed to see the advantage of having IR camera control), PES 2k8 and 2k9, and Bully to your list of games that were at least marginally improved by motion controls...

Sonic Unleashed also got a better score on the Wii. Despite I think the HD versions looks better (less forced werehog stages, and more platforming in day time)
| jake_the_fake1 said: I'm surprised by the little reaction people here are having despite the low metacritic for a game with large amounts of hype, Killzone 2 would have been torn to shreds if it got a metacritic of just 74, same goes for Halo 3. Seems like double stands to me, but then again this doesn't surprise. |
Because I expected a metacritic score of 65%. Don't worry it will get there with some more 30% reviews. Halo 3 is overrated no matter what you say. It's generic, story sucks, campaign is short, online is great. Doesn't that sound familiar? :)
Ok no, this is pissing me off now.
Who hyped this game out of proportion? Someone please answer this now before i eat myself. Where are people like BladeOfGod getting their bullshit from. I have been from site to site, and yes, people have gotten excited over this game, no more excited than some got for SSBB or MKWii. The most i heard was that The Conduit would be the best FPS available on the Wii, which is perfectly reasonable though some others will inevitably prefer CoD: WaWii or Metroid Prime 3 if you'd like to include that.
BladeOfGod, no one expected this game to have a 91 Metacritic score but yourself. And stop tagging every Wii supporter as a fanboy for gods sake. Why do people use this word so god damn loosely, hardly anyone knows what it actually means. You talk of "wii fanboys" over and over again, yet you are found here jetting nonsense left right and center, you have not said anything productive or thoughtful since you entered this thread, all you have done is pissed people off and attempted to start arguments.
We all expected The Conduit to be a great shooter and it is... that is all. No one, absolutely no one said it was going to be better than Killzone 2 or other acclaimed shooters, how anyone could think this considering the circumstances is far beyond me. Heavens forbid that there are people who had these kinds of expectations for the game, but I've yet to come across them.

How technical is your game?

I hate dual analog, so every fps on wii is better then HD fps on consoles. Just saying.
Honestly as much as I enjoy the Conduit a 74% is a fairly accurate measure of the game's quality overall. I'd probably rate it more in the ballpark of 79% but no sense in nitpicking.. The controls are simply the best for a console FPS, plain and simple. The graphics of the close up objects like the character models are detailed and well done, but the graphics of the background environments are kind of stale.
The single player mode is what it is, a typical story with typical gameplay and typical enemies to fight. The multiplayer though is where the game really stands out. It's a lot of fun and really in depth for a Wii game. I'd probably score the game a 6 for the single player and an 8.6 for the multi.
