They only give 1s,2s,3s,4s and 5s if I remember correctly.  A point scale on 5 points is just not the same as a point scale on 10 or 100 points.

Even so, on a 5 point scale, most would give the Conduit 4/5, possibly 3/5 that are extremely picky.  To give it 2/5 there is something wrong with the reviewer.

Not really.  The single player only takes about 6 hours on default difficulty although I would imagine it takes up to 10 on harder ones but the online could take 30 to level up all the way.  I'm almost to the Gold rankings and I am at like 12 hours online alone.  This game has major replay value and should be a buy for that reason alone.

When you hit the Middle Gold's you will start crying at how hard it is to level up.

it's a great game. They're too damn harsh on it. Critics act like a Halo competitor can come up out of the clear blue on a system that has hardly any first person shooters. Conduit is a good game and if you have a Wii you should buy it. The critics are always dumb asses. All the best movies get rated bad by the critics, but that's not always the case for video games, but it is for Conduit.
