No more Ganon? Should we lose Bowser while we're at it?

i too think ganon should sit this next entry out. id love for this game to be MMesque. that game was awesome and innovative. TP was an excelent game, and I liked the realistic art stlye more than the cel-shading, but it felt like it was taking a step backwards innovation-wise.

Keep Bowser, just don't let him be the final boss. Oh, and MM had no Ganon and it's awesome.

Not all Zelda games need Ganon, if the storyline dictates (MM, as you said). Ganon was already sealed away. I'm just saying, Ganon is part of the Triforce, and I enjoy the story that way... I don't want to lose him.

I don't really care. They can make Ganon as the main villain or leave him but no more of this, oh I'm at the last battle, I beat the villian, and then oh no Ganon was behind it the whole time...

They have other options... Vaati, Twinrova (Katake, Koume), Veran, Onox, Majora, Skull Kid, Zants etc.

Also, I do agree that Zelda being the hero might be refreshing. Dark Link has already been done but instead of mirror match maybe have him just be possessed. I liked the creepy possessed Link cinematic in Twilight Princess so maybe they could go that way.

Link finally kissing a girl would be nice. I know he did in Zelda 2... but come on... 18 years without any lip action has to be lame... lol

why do people not like gannon all of a sudden? he is the main villain in the series. now everybody wants him gone? saying he needs to be gone is like saying link or zelda needs to be gone. i guess you can say MM did well without him, but to me it just didnt feel like a zelda game.

If there is a triforce there must be Gannon.

I am psyched they aren't changing it drastically. I for one, would love another bigger, iterative, Zelda game. I have played every zelda game (including the dreaded CD-i ones) and I still don't want a huge change.

A positive way to think of this is that if we have a new villain in the next iteration then we have a potential new character in the next iteration of Super Smash Brothers...You can never have enough evil magical wizards. Yay



I'm not a fanboy, I just try to tip the balance in favor of logic and common sense.
