I think this could be a good thing. Means they're focusing more on level design than new powerups... Or maybe it doesn't, since Yoshi will be getting powerups. But I'm sure it'll be great regardless.

I honestly didn't think SMG was that easy. Sure it was easy but you have to understand that kids are playing the game too.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

I was better at games as a kid. My younger self with beat me easily.

HM I never owned that, but I do recall playing it aT my much older sisters apartment with her husband. Fun game never beat it though.

Actually no I dont recall that one it was the SNES one I played sorry.

Well as long as Yoshi is used a lot or a decent amount of time, I'm cool with it.

Frankly, I loved every suit in galaxy 1 and just wish they'd used them more so this could be good news if they focus on utilizing each suit more. And Yoshi's stuff is basically new suits so is it really that big of a deal?

I loved Galaxy but I'm sorry Nintendo's E3 Mario announcements were underwhelming to me. I may be wrong, but this seems like if it were on any other console it would be DLC...  It seems to be just more levels and a couple of extra characters.

And NSMB Wii looks fun but 4 player co-op without online WTF? I know they are eeking every last drop out of the Wii with that game but c'mom!  Sony already did it last year successfully with Little Big Planet.

Way to run a franchise into the ground Nintendo!

Do you actually mean that?

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)
