Another Code: R wasn't hyped.

I give this thread a 8/10. Good groundwork, but could've used a bit more polish.

I am not amused.

Haha... I enjoyed it.

This was particularly clever/hilarious: 'I usually like most of the games I buy, but when I see things like Edge handing out a 4/10 to Another Code: R, I think I've made a wrong decision and playing the game doesn't feel the same anymore. It's not fun anymore and I feel like I have wasted money on a turd.'

This applies to all of us though. I mean, two of my favourite games this generation Disgaea 3 and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn) had garnered only a lukewarm reception.

Well they give the score based on opinion, not if by anything else. Mabye some anticipated games aren't that good.

Not sure this is Wii specific, I think this sort of thing happens to anybody who really wants a game to do well. It almost feels like a personal slight.

Halo Wars for me springs to mind, I remember feeling bemused by a couple of low 60 late 50 scores but overall the Metacrtic system won out, because if it is actually a good game it will hold its own. Halo Wars eventually stabilised at a respectable 82 despite the odd bad egg.

I can't help it kiddy Wii owners can't spot a turd when they are looking at one. Go waggle your Wii.

Maybe Wii developers should stop making games deserving of low scores? :d
