If you're doing hand-drawn 2D stuff, I don't think pixel density adds any cost. The sprites will just look smoother on an HD setup than they could on the Wii.

I'd like to see Muramasa in some form in HD. If it isn't Wiimote intensive, then I'd grab it off of PSN/XBLA instantly.

not really. 1280x720 is not much bigger for 720x480p.
and the ps3 and 360 doesn't have cpu contraints. they could have managed a better cellshade for less.
it will be more expensive, but not expensive as hell.
also they could release the game online, save on packaging.
