The real III. The DS one was a little better storywise, but it still sucked.

No....SO3 is the worst in the series by far. Awful AWFUL music, awful design, and awful story.
Morrowind's story was rather bleh. Good game but crappy story.

Earthbound is not suppose to make sense. The reason why we complain about other RPG stories not making sense is because they try to take themselves very seriously but they end up lacking coherence and having plot holes. Earthbound is practically a parody of the genre and pokes fun at it self so it does not have to make sense to be good.

Wow i really thought that KOTOR II had a great story (not as epic as KOTOR 1) but still great, and i also enjoyed ending. The biggest problem with this game was only a fact that a lot of stuff was missing.
Every RPG everyone likes.
Just kidding, I have to say Enchanted Arms.

Not at all. The design was greatly flawed. SO4 was riddled with bugs, glitches, and freezes. The targeting was completely broken and a burden to the player, and the music wasn't good at all. Sakimoto did much better on IU!

Huh? Did you throw the game out of your DVD drive when the title screen came up or something?!?
As soon as the game begins you're thrown right into the story and even get to watch yourself grow as a child and chose what type of character you want to be! Fallout 3 has more story in it than every JRPG put together, minus all the emo crying and shit!

Fable 1 was pretty bad, as was Kotor II (although an incredible game, it's lack of an endgame keeps this from edging out the original KotOR, and makes the story overall have little to no payoff or impact). Aaaaand I'll conclude the list with the borderline fan-fic quality Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.
