They will sell well , but seeing how the latest FF game did on the DS ... I dont think that DQ9 will do as good as 8 did back in the PS2s days :?

Well this week the US + Other market advantage of the DS well outdid the PSP's advantage in Japan. I don't see the PSP ever again selling more worldwide than the DS, unless the spike in America is insane with the PSP 2000. Heck even in Japan it has at best one more week ahead of the DS. Zelda just came out in the US and in Japan FFTA2 and DQIV are coming in the coming months. Really PSP fans should just be happy their system is doing better because ultimately direct comparisons to the DS will just end in dissapointment. No one can touch Nintendo in handheld gaming sales.

PSP is receiving really great games lately ,as FFVII Crisis Core ,Final Fantasy Tactics ,Syphon Filter Logans Shadow (9.5 in IGN ) ,the new Metal Gear Solid + ,next week a new Gundam ,solid RPG as Jean D´Arc and Brave Story Travellers ,good action games as Dead Head Fred ,great sports games as NBA08,Madden,Tiger Woods ....and it has lot of games announced as God of War ,Gran Turismo Portable ,new Everybodys Golf ,Kingdom Hearts ,new Monster Hunter etc etc

The latest FF on DS was a prequel of a spinoff originally released on an unpopular console. Crystal Chronicles has LTD sales of 370k in Japan. Ring of Fates already has 350k in a 5 week period. It doesn't matter how you try to spin this, Ring of Fates is selling better.

That said, DQIX could do 4-5 million just in Japan.

 Actually PSP sales are falling fast down to 130K in Japan, by next week it'll be below 100K

 So what , the DS has more than 3 times as many units out in Japan than the PSP , so by this it should have outsold CC ... but it didnt . Will DQIX hit 4-5 million ... I really dont know , it is a possibility ... actually , if it wont do at least 5 million in Japan ( as the most popular RPG on the most popular sistem ) than it means that casual games are the real deal on the DS :)

And because DS slammed PSP in sales, everyone's just supposed to buy every game on it because...?

Yeah as you said, it was actually a very weak software performance for the PSP considering the hardware performance.  Still, I'm proud of the little guy and I'm glad it put up some respectable numbers.

 We are not talking about any game there ... we are talking about the 2 biggest RPGs in japan : Pokemon and DQ ... so if you cant see the logic in that ... well than Im sorry for you :?

If you're talking about DQ and Pokemon, then you're using illogic. The DQ4 remake alone is going to blow Crisis Core out of the water. This really isn't disputable so some ridiculous ass-backwards logic that DS is going to make DQ sell less isn't logic at all.
