Forums - Gaming - Will Tales of Vesperia be localized for PS3 or not?

Hopefully so, it'll be my first JRPG for this generation if it gets localized.

You have to remember that unlike last gen Japan isn't as reliable. I don't think they'd want to put it all that effort adding in all that stuff if it'll sell like...200k more (?) when they can release it overseas and get more sales.

If Eternal Sonata PS3 came over, ToV PS3 will too. If not then Namco are retarded.

All they added for Eternal Sonata was some VA for 2 characters that were now playable. Compared to what they are doing for the VA work being done on the ToV PS3 version that really is a walk in the park. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I'm not gettign my hopes up either. You need to also remember though that PS2 was the best selling console WW last gen and ToS sold like hotcakes in NA on Gamecube. Not bringing ToS over to PS2 made no sense. This is Namco though and they hardly ever make decisions that seem like no brainers to most of us.

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

I hope it does since I want everyone to experience Vesperia...

Former something....

At first I would have said that we probably wouldn't see it, but after I read that people from Sony of America were talking to people from Namco Bandai America about the game's localization, I figured that it would happen at some point.

How is the English voice-acting in ToV?

Solid to terrible, just like Symphonia.

Wait, this just hit me. Lets say this only hits Japan. Since they are adding more script, including dialogues and using dual-voice, that means they also have to record all those additonal things, right? Then for Eu/US release, they would only have to translate the text?

I'm hoping it does. I plan to buy it.

Really? I thought the voice acting was wayyyy better in ToV than it was in ToS.
