Getting rid of my past couple hours worth of work along with it. I'm really enjoying this game alot, but it's got way too many bugs. I've fallen through floors (and managed to jump my way out), I once tried to climb a building and on my first jump I got stuck in the wall and then rocketed straight up into the sky way over the building (I was worried I wasn't going to stop flying, but eventually gravity kicked in), lots of clipping issues, and just now I was doing this really annoying balloon mission, and I was on my last balloon (why make me disable four? I mean seriously, four terror busses, three substations, ect ect, just give me one or two and make it good) and it suddenly locked up, completely froze I had to just turn off my PS3. Really miffed right now. I am enjoying the game, but right now I just want nothing to do with it. Could have used another month of bug testing and cleaning up the engine a bit.

Yeah, I think it's awesome too, but it's buggy as hell. Almost like TFU. I've been pretty fortunate, though. I've gotten nothing serious, just the one where he starts spazzing when I try to Bio Leech, people walking away when I talk to them for a side mission, and one hilarious one where somebody ran into me and died

Maybe it would have been better if it hadn't been preponed. Ah well, judging by the ending, there will be an inFamous 2, hopefully that will run better.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out the existence of a bug in a PS3 exclusive, if you've played the game and experienced the bug...

You know what makes this worse if what you say is true... this game was released early.

It was supposed to release later... but they looked at it and decided to release it early.

I hope it's just some wierd problem with your version though.  I wanna pick up Imfy when it hits the bargain bin.

I just got this game last night (along with Dark Sector for the 360 -$8!!). Haven't fired it up yet, but when I do, I'll be sure to save often.

It hasn't locked up on me and.. well I haven't had as many issues as you seem to have had but yeah :p it does have a lot of bugs.

Worst one I encountered was probably falling through the floor of the map (only tried it once though soh) sounds like you need to save more often though XD (it's the games fault.. but saving often will reduce the frustration of such a thing as what happened.)
