The said that Microsoft definitely won the first round this generation with games like Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Fable 2 and more. The only game that caught their attention on their PS3 was Valkyria Chronicles so far. The next round will commence when the next wave of RPG's come out for both systems. Xbox 360 certainly has the healthier amount of RPG's with both WRPG's and JRPG's, while Sony is stuck with just JRPG's for now. Mass Effect was the ace in the hole as they were saying as to why the 360's RPG lineup just got stronger. Sony still has FFXIII Versus and White Knight Chronicles, so phase two of the battle begins.

Well, honestly, I think it'd be hard not to agree.

The exclusives PS3 has are like White Knight Chronicles and Disgaea, while Wii has like Crystal Bearers(which still isn't out) and Arc Rise Fantasia...

Then along comes 360 with Lost Odyssey and Mass Effect. I really can't see it as a competition. I mean, 360 also has Fable 2, Blue Dragon, Star Ocean 4... And these are just the exclusives. Add to that the HD multiplats like Fallout 3 and (eventually) FF13. I think you're deluding yourself if you're saying that the 360 isn't winning in the RPG department so far.

Yea I guess going after that porno and/or that emo crowd wasn't their most targetted userbase, but they are trying.

OT: As for this, only way either of those could come on top is if they were between each other haha. I mean throw DS or PS2 against either and well you get my point. But I do agree 360 would be the obvious winner but not to discredit PS3 either.
