Forums - Gaming - What single game will last me until the holiday season?

Disgaea3. If you like SRPG's then Disgaea3 EASILY. I've you like online play RE5 and Burnout Paradise are good choices.

I popped Oblivion back i the 360 because of this thread

I'm not a fanboy, I just try to tip the balance in favor of logic and common sense.

Call of Duty 4 could easily last you that long.

Oblivion, too. Don't listen to the haters, it's an awesome game, and nothing like Fallout 3.

Thanks everyone for mentioning Oblivion! (my absolute favorite game all time, words can't describe how much I adore this game)

If you have $80 why not get a couple of cut priced games? They are still as good as new releases and you'll have some variety to play with.

I DON'T have $80...maybe it came out wrong in the OP, but my budget is like $30-40

On a different note, is it worth getting the Oblivion GOTY edition as opposed to the regular edition? It's only $10 more, which isn't a huge deal, but I don't know if the extra content is worth it...

yes get the goty edition. it has alot more than $10 of content

If you're enjoying Fallout 3 a lot then its probably worth it. Sorry I misread your OP.

Console games are expensive, why not take a step back and consider other alternatives? You could buy 2-3 older PC games for that much money and they will almost certainly keep you going for 2-3 months. Games like Civilization IV, Diablo, Titan Quest, etc which you can get for $5-10 at a time.
