It has more posts about rpg than any other genre!!!

Maybe because they are good games?

They arent boring and repetitive like FPS games?

Some have great stories and memorable characters?

Take your pick. Why, what would you like us to talk about?

Rpg are repetitive too. But i agree that they have better stories. But i still prefer FPS because they are have more action. But it depends on the gamers. some like one genre others another.

And for the OP the reason is that VGC has a lot of RPG fans :P

THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!

almost as good as platformers

Everyone is a strong word.

Traditional RPG's (JRPG) are a dying genre and I would be willing to bet next generation we will barely see any.

because most great games are RPGs

Because we are all made up of mostly hardcore gamers... not many so called "casuals" will know about much less post on a gaming forum. RPGS are hardcore games and this is a hardcore site.

Because, when they're done best, no other genre can match them. They are longer than other games, so they have time to develop a better story and characters. And when they do that well, the result is often unforgettable

Well.. at least it's about different RPG's then before... you should have been here when the only RPG's we talked about were Final Fantasy 7 Remake & Kingdom Hearts 3.... :P

@InvetedLotus123:There are more JRPG fans on this site than actual RPG fans.

@Vetterman94: JRPG's are extremely repetitive. FPS games have more replay value, but JRPG's are storybased, so of course they would be more memorable. FPS games have memorable stories as well...but JRPG's put more emphasis on the story, than the actual game.
