This makes me happy, I really don't want this gen to end anytime soon. 2015-2016 sounds just about right to me.

I wouldn't think this means alot to people who already own an xbox 360
The next cycle of consoles needs to come a little later than usual. The tech needs to slow down so the industry can catch up!

This depends also how you define 'console generation lifecycle'.

It could very well mean that the X360 is manufactured in parallel to the Xbox3 for a couple of years. Let's say that Xbox3 launches in Nov 2012, but the X360 could still have life if it's manufactured and supported to let's say 2014.

Whats with the rebeanding BS!

M$ don't need to rebrand Xbox. Xbox is synonimus with Halo. It already is well known and has far more kick in UK now than Playstation. You walk into a gme store here and you expect to see Xbox. You barely hear about Playstation at all. Maybe Sony needs a rebrand.
