This depends also how you define 'console generation lifecycle'.
It could very well mean that the X360 is manufactured in parallel to the Xbox3 for a couple of years. Let's say that Xbox3 launches in Nov 2012, but the X360 could still have life if it's manufactured and supported to let's say 2014.
