lol, now i dont think ill be able to beleive any of thier reviews now.

That makes no sense at all... this shows that they're willing to correct their mistakes, which makes their reviews more trustworthy.

... or that Nintendo/EA didn't accurately inform them of the need to update the firmware for WM+.

but the fact that they made the mistake by not really playing the game in the first place shows me that thier reviews arent that trustworthy.

How did you conclude that they didn't play the game?

sorry i should have put "didnt play it that much".

but still the fact that they made, and then had to correct, a mistake is how....look, i didnt trust eruogamer even before this. maybe it was a simple error with WM+ and they did actually play the game, maybe i did jump to conclusions. but the fact that they botched a review and had to correct it makes me think otherwise and distrust them even more. i dont know about you but when a reviewer has to "fix" a review, that tells me they didnt even try the first time.

They had the integrity to admit their mistake and correct it. Good for them.

All you people flaming them, using the internet logic that people who make mistakes are idiots, don't know what the hell integrity is.

It would cost them nothing to stay silent, yet they endure embarassment in order to be fair, and right, and honest.

We all fall, gentlemen. Some of us just go about it a bit more gracefully than others.

I guess you didn't read Eurogamer's explanation for the correction posted earlier in the thread. The problem was not insufficient playing time, it was a hardware/software problem on the reviewer's console.
