Eurogamer previously gave Grand Slam tennis 5/10, but they must of played a bit more afterwards and thought they gave their score too early, and withdrew the 5/10 and gave the game 8/10. I should think so too ;)

They posted their good reasons for the mistake in the 5/10 review:

To sum up, they were using a Wii debug kit to play the game, which didn't work properly with WM+, thus messing up the controls.

They're not inferior, they're actually superior (allowing to take screenshots of games and probably more things).

Reading the blog again, it seems they just had to update the firmware manually (since the firmware update in the game is for the normal Wiis).
