Pretty sure most of us have always called him a bad actor  

And he invited comments like these when he made those comments to the press, so why should we leave him alone?

Sadly Shia will continue to rise as a hollywood movie star because movie studios will think that he's the main draw card for movie goers and they will continue hiring him, when in reality, we all just want to see giant robots, megan fox and harrison ford.

Seriously, speaking seriously. I like Shia LaBeouf, I think he's funny and I enjoyed his participation in Transformers (though I never saw Indy IV). That does not mean I take him seriously as a gamer. And even if I did, that doesn't really mean his opinions would carry any particular weight.

You want someone to blame, try the writers and the fact that the effects for the Transformers were so intensive they had to cut back this time.

Blaming the actors who are just doing what the script and directors say (aside from notable ad-libbing) just makes you look ignorant.

As I've grown up, I've seen SHia grow up as an actor. I haven't seen Indiana Jones, but I have seenall of Shia's other movies and walked away satisfied. With Transformers 2, I don't expect it to change. As for why you guys are here, if you really didn't care about what he has to say, you wouldn't have posted in this thread. It is the same thing when Malstrom speaks. Posters go one for days calling him a jerk, but come back everytime a thread with his name pops up. Take the Shia LaBeouf route with these threads, and avoid them like he does the Wii.

sounds about right to me. Shia isn't a great actor, but luckily for me he doesn't destroy the movie. It takes a lot for a character to destroy a movie for me, and Jar Jar Binks and whoever it was who played Anakin Skywalker really killed those movies for me. Not that I even really liked them anyways, but they just made it worse.
