Many have cited Goldeneye N64 as one of the greatest games of all time, unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of playing this game. So how is one of the Greatest N64 Games not on the Virtual Console, downright shameful by Nintendo. They have robbed us of one of the greatest games of all time and I want it on the Virtual Console now or XBL!!

Nintendo dont rob us of the greatest N64 title, Please meet the needs of your gamers and customers!

Anyway, it is surprising that goldeneye isn't on the VC. Although there is some snafu about the rights of it, RARE being with the 360 now, but golden eye being a N64 game at the time. Personally, I would like to see it on the VC more than XBLA.

Amen brother, so why wont they release it? Damn you nintendo just because a third party studio made the greatest N64 game does not mean you have to exlude it from you VC service!

im aware of this situation son, but the fact of the matter is that Nintendo are reluctant to allow Rare to release it on XBL while still releasing on the Virtual Console. Nintendo is robbing us gamers

Goldeneye is in video game limbo due to Rare being sold to Microsoft, and neither one of them having the James Bond license. But don't worry... an improved Perfect Dark is coming to XBLA soon, and I'll take that over Goldeneye any day of the week!

i just thought u didnt know i would just wait and see but if it happens then gamers will want perfect dark on VC then we have the same problem again

probably because 3 big companies have rights to this game - MS, Nintendo and whoever have rights to James Bond franchise. there was possibility of releasing Goldeneye on xbl(there was even few screenshots) months ago, but Nintendo stopped it.
