America: Slight lead to 360 (it's the userbase)
Others: Significant lead for PS3
Japan: PS3, duh. It's exclusive.
Overall: PS3, by a LONG way.

Why are so many expecting a win for 360 in America?
People still assosciate Final Fantasy with the Playstation name, much more so than the GTA or Resident Evil series.
Versus and XIV are still PS3 exclusive, so fans who've yet to buy a HD system will choose the PS3 and multi-console owners will most likely get the PS3 version. That just leaves 360-only owning JRPG fans, of which there aren't many.

Xbox 360 still has an overwhelming lead over the PS3 in America. Even with the PS3's upcoming price cut, the difference still will be pretty huge by March. That's what most people are thinking. Personally, I can't think of a single multiplatform game for PS3 that has outsold it's 360 counterpart in America.
If any game could do it though, it would definitely be FFXIII.
I still dont understand why they wouldnt do a japanese 360 version.. it could easily sell over 400k copies if pushed right. Since theyr already coding it to the 360 and doing a ps3 japanese version it woudnt take a lot of effort to do a 360 Japanese release..
If MS dont land this one, ps3 is gonna pretty much kill them in japan.
Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

Street Fighter IV on the 360 has only a 40k lead over the PS3 version in America. I think that shows a huge difference in demographics. I'm just assuming the western JRPG fanbase is still with Sony.

Yeah, I'm expecting the PS3 version to sell above the 360 version in America, too. There's a lot of factors going in its favor.
I dunno why ppl are only talking about American sales....is it because there is not point arguing which will sell WW as it's alrdy obvious and america is the only territory where ppl can argue which version will sell more?
