The Sony-mote woud be better suited for an arcade racer like modnation, where they can use the point and click functionality (assuming it has it) as part of the customisation portion of the game.

Even if they could map the wheel to the motion of the wand, which is possible, they still would likely be unable to have enough buttons at the ready to handle the other functions of GT 5.

GT5 will probably be delayed to Holiday 2010 but it absolutely will not have anything to do with the motion controller. Nobody likes racing games with motion controllers. Fact. (If you point to Mario Kart or Excite Truck, you lose. Those games couldn't be more different from GT)

Ah well, you've said crazier stuff. Sony is not going to delay their biggest exclusive another 6 months to promote a peripheral that nobody likes that won't help the game in any way, when every DAY they don't release GT5 reduces its final sales and hardware impact.

I'll just say that I'd be pissed if it got delayed to 2010 just so it could be released simultaneously with that stupid PS Mote.

Didn't Polyphony say recently the game was basically done and all that's left is touching it up (making it perfect)?? If I didn't just make that up then that would be stupid to delay the game to 2010.

They wouldn't do this. Sony is desprate and this holiday will pay off with this game.

even the prologue cant be played with sixaxis motion sensors to steer like they did with motorstorm... so thats not a chance!

I think mod racer has a better chance of being a launch title than GT5, that game at least fit the mo-tech design better than GT.
