I guess my pick would be Assassin's Creed 2 or Brutal Legend then. Assassin's Creed because I like the setting, it sounds like the story will be interesting, and I like the incorporation of Leonardo Da Vinci's devices (with all the conspiracy theories such things link to) being incorporated into the game. Brutal Legend because it looks to be living up to expectations and to truely be becoming a heavy metal fantasy with so many legends lining up to lend their talents to it and the art especially on the girls is good.

My two honorable mentions would be Bayonetta, because Bayonetta is hot, and The Saboteur because I like its aesthetic qualities and the fact that it takes place in and around a red light district.

Unless I'm mistaken, every single game nominated for Best of Show will be available on PS3.

I have watched all of these nomination videos, and I have agreed with most, save for the placement of Uncharted 2 in 3rd person shooters instead of action adventure.

I don't quite agree on AC 2 vs ME 2, the later of which I would place as best Xbox game, and in the top 4, but I would actually put GoW 3 behind AC 2, I like GoW, but I don't love it, the only game I have actually finished was Chains of Olympus

Anyway, I say Uncharted 2 as best game of the show, but that is just me I suppose (oh and 1up... my new favourite site!)

New Super Mario Bros Wii was slammed by GT only a few days back if I remember correctly. (I think it was on Invisible Walls.)

They said something to the tune of; it's graphics look atrocious, and it not offering anything radically new to the DS version.

Lost Planet 2 doesn't look that great either in my opinion. I think it will languish in the 80's on metacritic, and with games from proven AAA franchises making appearances at E3, I don't think LP2 would be a great candidate.

Lost Planet has never looked that great to me honestly. I thought it was hilarious when Tretton just casually mentioned Lost Planet 2 was going to the PS3.
