I don't think they'd be dumb enough to exclude buttons but in all the previews I've read and all the images I've seen,I haven't seen a clue of a single button.2 wands that are probably more accurate than Wii M+ but they already made the mistake of leaving out an analog stick or at least a nub like the PSP's got.That's okay for casual games(wii sports never uses the analog) but how will we play more traditional games?I'm guessing it has at least one button on each wand but I've not heard of any buttons!

Well it was a prototype, probably rushed as well. I don't think we're going to see anywhere near the thing we saw (that infamously resembles something else).

it does have buttons, they DID mention that buttons are very important for it, and they had an example of a gun in a shooter wont work without buttons (dont know its Call of Duty or Killzone)

Yes it has buttons. Watch the conference (there should be enough videos around) and all your questions are answered.

Not only that. Someone from sony said all previous games could work with it. Basically what we have to assume from that statement is that there are infact two wands that together will have all of the buttons of a dualshock pad. Including analogues.

There was also a drawing leaked of such a wand and it looks pretty good.

Well, they didn't show pics and stuff of it is, because it's not a finalized version.
Remember what happened when they presented the "boomerang" controller ? That was only a prototype aswell.

Of course, a motion controller without buttons would limit the variety in gameplay, so Sony wouldn't be dumb enough to hamper that.
