I am in Australia, which is about as expensive as it gets for games. To purchase this game, I am spending the equivalent of $US105.

What? really? And here I am complaining that I had to buy it for £29

To be fair, it is the Collector's Edition.

But it really shits me when people complain about game prices, given here in Australia our exchange rate has shifted by about 40% over the last few years and yet we STILL pay a TONNE more than our US counterparts.

A collectors edition would be between £50-£65 over here. According to XE.com £60 is AU$107 so maybe it's not that bad.

It's US$95. I don't know what a collectors would sell for including tax in America

Mass effect 2 now has shorter cooldown time for powers.
"In the first Mass Effect, using a power seemed like an important element of combat as the long recharge time meant that you only had a chance to make an impact, usually just as the fight began. Making the cooldown period shorter will probably lead to just as much power spamming, but at shorter intervals."

What about Kaiden?

It depends on who choose to save on Virmire, if Kaidan was chosen he will appear in Mass Effect 2, instead of Ashley. However, none of them will be squad mates.

*Sigh* I hate when sites do this. Why not let people actually play the game? I would like to experience the story before seeing the ending.
