Also if you have a decent setup that 7.1 audio sounds divine. But if you don't have a nice setup I can understand why bluray and sweet, sweet 7.1 surround might not appeal to you.

They already had a Metal Gear Solid game, MGS2 on the Xbox. Now on the 360 they get a spin-off while MGS4 remains exclusive to the PS3. So that's a slightly odd thing to say.

Pretty much everyone mentioning MGS4 in this thread should shut up until the end of this week - there are still enough days for a 360 announcement, in addition to the Trophy patch. And in addition to those, we could even get an expansion for MGS4. I doubt they're going to use the weekend but so far there's three more announcements to make - and I'm almost 100% sure one of them will be the Trophy patch, a 360 version, or both. Besides, E3 wouldn't have been the right place for such an announcement; it would have been overshadowed by Rising and to lesser extent, Peace Walker.

Also, the article quoted in the OP is wrong: Rising will not be the next Metal Gear - Peace Walker will.
