Oh i'm not saying he's perfect, his political predictions were laughable, anyone could see from economic news that McCain was going to lose big, but in terms of business, and the video game industry, he's been on target so far



 

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

No that was where he made his prediction that Obama would lose, there were subsequent artticles where he addressed why he thought he was wrong, personally I think he should stick to gaming analysis

 

Although he became very popular on right wing sites of that prediction

like stating its obvious it doesnt work

This analogy might be more appropriate than you intended it to. 

I'm a christian, and even I already noticed, how anti-malstrom people often try to debunk him based on seemingly contradiction of terms, and sentences, ignoring the whole bigger picture, while pro-malstrom people try to explain everything exactly by context, and alternate interpretations, like "x word actually means y, in this case"

The contrarian confession of his pretty much explains it all. Almost everyone was predicting the Wii would lose so he argued against that. Pretty much everyone was expecting Obama to win and he argued against that as well. Had he got that one right he would likely be to some Republicans what he is to some Nintendo fans.

Is it any wonder he's coming out in full force against Project Natal without any idea of what is going on behind the scenes?

He's speaking about it from a business standpoint, the technology is only important if it actually works and is delivearble at a mainstream price
