Forums - Gaming - Ghostbusters LEADs on PS3 - But graphically superior on 360.

so...Just to ask, just because Faith is missing a patch of dirt on her hand, this automatically makes the game unplayable?

Look closer, check the image quality.

This game led on PS3 on an engine that doesn't support anti-aliasing on consoles and the 360 version still had less jaggies.

Besides no-one said the PS3 version was unplayable, but Xen submitted that the PS3 version was superior.

My point is jaggies/aliasing- whatever why are people so concerned which one looks better? Why give a fuck? the images are identical, why does everyone feel so hard done by when their console has one pixel out of place compared to the competition, why do people need to gloat as if they just won the superbowl or been hand delivered a cookie by the VP of the makers of their favourite consoles?

Way I see it, this is getting really sad.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Sometimes it doesn't make sense why one has one feature or effect and another doesn't when there is no reason as to why.
That and games needing a patch on the release day makes people think games are rushed this gen and the devs are taking too many shortcuts and liberties with gamers.

Yet when it comes down to playing the games most people even those complaining just play the game.

For patches, it's not lazy, it's just us not wanting to twiddle our thumbs while we wait for certification.

It's not being in a hurry, it's just that anyone that says there's nothing left to do is lying through their teeth.

Given the chance, there are still things I would love to improve upon but and it's not because we were in a hurry, it's just a matter of prioritizing, doing what we have the time to do, and having to eventually be forced to stop.

what Twesterm says sorta make sense especially when you refer it to the folks at Polophony who keep finding something to fix/add/do to GT5 eventhough as they said, they could release at anytime. Some folks are better at knowing when to say stop it seems.

I get his point and if it was for one or two games fine but most games being released have bugs and exploits, problems that need to be patched.

We see these announcements that they only have 2000 bugs left, now it's gone gold then on release day oh here's a problem we didn't know about. Really?
games last gen didn't need patching.
It's getting ridiculous.

An update is fine and welcome but patches aren't

Looks like a pre-release version was used so no problem with the PS3 version of ghostbusters.
Still needs to be validated.
