Forums - Gaming - Ghostbusters LEADs on PS3 - But graphically superior on 360.

How is that a solution?

Anyway this has nothing to do with things moving but the graphics.
The biggest problem is how blurred the PS3 version is.

They've made themselves look amateurish.

I suppose that would explain it, you can't really tone down physics because it would affect gameplay but textures and the odd graphical effect can be. That would fit in with your explanation and explain why the developers said that it could have been better if developed purely for the PS3.

Interesting...

If anyone had even a slight doubt this isn't an alternate account, rest easy. Most users with 10 posts wouldn't be able to tell CGI Quality, "My god you have changed. A very balanced and true explanation.", seeing as how his change was gradual and this account was created very recently.

Theres one big missing component in this analysis. We don't as of yet know the rendering resolution, frame rate and if there is screen tear. Without knowing these things you cannot say Xbox 360 > PS3 Ghostbusters.

(Patiently awaits eurogamer's in depth analysis followed by numerous fanboys calling them biased liars)

Don't get me wrong here, I mean this was the 1st title to my knowledge apart from Burnout Paradise where such a big deal was made about the PS3 being the lead platform. Sony even signed a timed exclusive deal in the EU for the game. Is there really anything wrong with this thread?

GTA IV and COD IV were both coded seperately for the PS3/Xbox 360 and yet both showed a framerate advantage to the 360 version. So not it wouldn't be the first time. Or even the first big time.

Tease.

Isn't it strange how devs in a particular companies back pocket are willing to embaress themselves to promote their pimp. Normally though this is with 1st party publishers under Sony's control...

Maybe the EU times exclusive deal could have something to do with this.

...

Both have similar screen tearing but the frame rate is supposed to be good on both.

They speculate that due to the blur the PS3 must be sub 720P. I guess we'll only find out in time

Just to confirm, was it established that the deal in EU is actually a timed exclusive because Sony paid for it and not because Atari couldn't publish it themselves?

What is the deal with that... erm deal.

If Atari couldn't publish it why and who's publishing it in Oct?

My good man, you are familiar with the term "lurker".

It's published by Atari in the US I believe. Not an issue though nothing wrong with paying for exclusitivity as it's just good buisness sense.

Hey I dunno, someone posted something along the lines of EU Atari being unable to do it so they were looking for someone else to do it and Sony figured they would do their own version instead of waiting for who ever picked up the tab.
