Forums - Nintendo - What do you think about nintendo making games easiers to casual audience?

Doesn't this feature make the game unable to save the part that played itself?
Is just like a walktrough.
I used a walkthorugh in Golden Sun to find all the Djiins and I'm ok with it.
not to mention I warped right to bowser in SMW, then I played again doing everything.
I loved star road's levels.

Wait... I thought that the feature doesn't let you skip levels, but that it shows you how to pass a level and then you, the player, have to do it.  Did I miss something?  *not sarcasm*

I could have really done with this feature on the GC Metroid Primes - certain boss battles just ruined me.

I think the problem that everyone has with it is that you won't be able to resist using it. I won't... Die 2 to 3 times in one spot and that temptation will start being unbearable.

The other problem, I already have trouble reviewers are actually playing the games... now they can just skip right through.

I give NSMB Wii a 1/10. You don't do anything in this one! It's the easiest game I've ever "played", shame on you Nintendo!

That's another take on it.  Reviewers will claim it's too easy even though they only skipped through it.

Hmm... kinda like they did with Mario Galaxy...

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Easy=/=accessible.

What he said. If it makes games more accessible, welcoming, and ultimately expands the gaming pool, I'm all for it.

Malstrom's view is that Miyamoto has reinvented his own wheel: the Warp Zone in SMB fulfilled this but did so feeling like part of the game rather than some artificial hack.

my GF is down. She thought it was hot.

Anyone who is upset by this really needs to take a hard look in the mirror.

An option that could possibly bring more people into gaming cannot be considered anything but good.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I think Nintendo has got it wrong. It's not the difficulcy that is the problem, it's the LEARNING CURVE. Hell I got into games because of the most Hardcore (by the definition that the game has many hardcore players and tournaments etc) and difficult game ever, Starcraft. How could I play this game as a kid with no experience of games? It's really easy to learn, like most Blizzard games, but then becomes more complex.

Good games are easy to learn but hard to master. Nintendo games used to be like this too, but sadly it seems like that's changing.

I LOVE ICELAND!

IMO because this feature is for the Wii just makes me see the Wii as even more kiddish. Sorry not trying to offend any Wii owners, but thats just how i see it.
