When a PS3 price cut finally arrives what games do you think will benefit most from the (hopefully large) increase in hardware sales? Although I wouldn't say many PS3 exclusives have flopped, they haven't performed quite as well as Sony may have hoped so is a price cut likely to change this?
I think the game that will benefit most will be Little Big Planet due to it's appeal to multiple audiences and the likelihood that many people who would like to play this game are not going to spend £300 ($400?) to do so. Therefore, when a cheaper PS3 becomes available I see this game picking up in sales.
Another game I think could benefit would be Killzone 2, although not as well as LBP. As it's a more 'hardcore' game the current PS3 price may not be as off putting to those wanting to play this as opposed to LBP, however, as it's a flagship title I still expect sales to increase a little. Although the timing of the price cut has to be taken into account as any cut close to the release of MW2 will probably kill off many extra sales for Killzone 2.
MGS4 may also get a nice boost. Granted, most of the core fans of the series already own a PS3 but as a Halo 3 shows, great games continue sell when the install base is big enough.
Any thoughts?

) but some are much more likely to get larger increases due to the change in the demographic. Also, will Sony consider the impact rival games may have on software boosts? For example, will they announce a price cut around August/September so that Killzone 2 sales may increase as a cut much later will likely negate many sales due to the release of MW2? As I said, I think LBP could get some huge legs when hardware sales increase, much more so than any other title.
