Well, that also happens to me often. But who knows, maybe in 7 it stays interesting. Although i already almost missed the third battle at fort condor...

@Carl

tell me where FF7 > FFX

I can see only 1 place, limit breaks are easier to get

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I'm at the beginning of the Whirlwind Maze, Cloud (level 58), Barret (level 56) and mandatory Tifa (level 47), else i've been using Yuffie (level 57). Doing a 100% file, i'm at 65 Gigas Armlets, just 34 to go.
To answer a question that i saw a couple of pages before, more people tend to use Barret and Yuffie/Cid more because of the damage outup of their Level 3/4 limit breaks. Red XIII lacks a trully hardhitting Limit Break, which isn't that big a deal on the early stages of the game, but later, it becomes a big setback.
Also i'm going for a Limit Break/Enemy Skill only challenge, it's kinda frustating at the beginning (right until you get White Wind E.S) if you're not a frequent Aeris user (Which is not my case, hate to build on a character only to have it taken mid way through the game, even if her limit breaks are the best support you get in all 1st CD).
If anyone has any question about FF7 or need a particular hint, just send a message, this is my 12th playthrough this game, and i know almost every inch of the game ;).

I felt like starting a new game because I felt like it, just made it to the wall market where I get to sneak into Don's mansion.

HA HA cloud's in a dress! ahem I mean I'm going to save Tifa from Don...yeah that's it. Wait, how does cloud hide is gigantic Buster Sword inside that dress?

@carl

naaa

I felt the music, story & gameplay in FFX was so much better

characters I gotta give to FF7, that annoying tidus ruined the characters!!

Darth i've got to disagree with you in one point. FFX is a great game indeed, but to me, FF7 is the second best in the series, almost tied to FFVI.
But saying that the music of FFX is better than FF7 is a bit off :/ i mean, FFX doesn't have a single music that stands out, and while songs like To Zanarkand, Hymn of the Fayth and Otherworld are trully masterpieces, i don't think that they can compete with a Aeris Theme, Shin-Ra theme or one of the most known songs in video game history, One Winged Angel

The only good song in FFX is Zanarkand

Gameplay is meh.
Story... How could you say such a thing
