Instead I will buy it, although a lot of people has just said the next will be an HD console...But I will buy it in every case.

As for now, Nintendo has said they will not release Wii HD, but I am pretty sure if they have to, they will. And I think they said in the same interview/news that their next console will be HD.
I've said it elsewhere, and I'll say it again. MS and Sony followed Nintendo's trap perfectly. They showed their hands for their motion tech plans. Nintendo won't need to come out with a new system for about 3 years yet. THis would be the year they start developing their next console. Having seen what Sony and MS are up to now, Nintendo can begin making their strategy that again disrups the market and makes MS and Son'y motion controls obsolete. This is the way Nintendo always has worked, that's why their consoles are often the last to come out in a generation.
Topics like these are always silly ... Today you can buy a Graphics card that is noticeably more powerful than what either the HD consoles for a little more than $100, which is turning a healthy profit for the company that developed the technology (ATI), the company that manufactured the card (Saffire), and the retailer selling the card; and yet people think that this will be a difficult thing to do in 3 years time, potentially after we have moved two manufacturing process forward.
I think Nintendo will go for something more traditional in terms of upgrades, in that it will be a significant leap forward, to something that surpasses PS360 (though not by much)

I define "gamer" as someone who wants the newest, highest quality games. The people who use gamerankings to prove a point. They devote at least a couple hours a day to games that don't involve exercising or brain training. They like guns, blood, and boobs. |
Isn't it ironic, then, that your definition of a "gamer" sounds very much like someone who would be most likely to enjoy pornography (I.e. an immature, adolescent male)?

Sounds to me like your definition of gamer is the same as most people's definition of child.

So they were right. Video games are just male power fantasies and we only play them because of our small wing-wongs...
