Why care bout them? Wii like the Wii so who cares if someone else doesnt.
NSMB Wii has no online mode, because it is not possible on Wii (said Nintendo)
But there will be a NNSMB on the next console, then it will be possible...
This guy sure did a lot of research, but apparently not enough to defeat his point about Resident Evil 5, which Capcom has said may yet come to the Wii.

Just more crying that Nintendo won.
Now Playing: The Witcher (PC)
Consoles Owned: NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, Wii, Xbox 360, Game Boy, DS
There have been countless analogies on countless threads on thousands of websites trying to explain this, but I like mine best so I’m going to state it. If you consider games for HD consoles as a Mountain Bike race games for the Wii would be like a BMX Race ... You can recreate either experience for each group of people without forcing them to change their "Bikes" but the best experiences come from playing to the strength of each "Bike" and trying to recreate those experiences for either will likely result in a "Watered Down" experience.
Basically, Dead Rising for the XBox 360 was a game that had elements which played to the strenghts of both the HD consoles and the Wii; and the unfortunate problem with the Wii Port was that the developer did not see the elements which were good for the Wii. The HD consoles have the ability to have a lot of enemies interacting in a very large area all at the same time, and this was used in the XBox 360 version to make an enjoyable game. The concept that "Everything is a weapon" combined with the free-form controls of the Wii could have provided an excellent experience on the Wii even though the Wii doesn't have the same processing capabilities as the HD consoles, and having fewer zombies walking around would not be a problem if they required greater use of objects and the environment in creative ways to deal with them.

I know, its crazy, I make a sarcastic post, despite agreeing with a person, and they think Im a fanboy attacking them and reacting to their post. Perhaps its just the view that I take on gaming - there's no reason to put a gaming genre down. There's a market for everything, but not everyone fits the mold of every market. For example, you and I have a different opinion on Umbrella Chronicles - I thought it was pretty cool how they condensed the RE story to be less wordy and drawn out. It was sort of like a RE highlights. I didn't mind the on-rails experience, being an old aracade gamer (back when it was 25 cents per play!) Sure, I don't want EVERY game to be like that, but they have their place. Ultimately, I have the best setup, as I can get my HD gaming fix on my PC (and eventually to add a 360), and if the game comes to the Wii, I get that for the ability to have smooth controls and sit on my couch (I hate being in front of a computer at work most of the day and then spending my evening in front of one too) Oh, and I don't have a PHD yet. So, that'd be Mr. Reactionary.

haha
i was crusty in the AM for sure.
i liked that they condensed the game too, but for me it was a one off fun time. cool cus of the idea, but no suspense, or horror, just all that part of it gone. same with dead space.
i guess the thing i hated most about UC was the music, cus it killed the vibe of the game so badly.

I hear ya, but I think that except for mutliplayer games, most games are a one time shot for me. Fortunately, Ive such a limited amout of gaming time, one game might take me 2 years to beat
My core gaming sessions are over, at least until I become single again. LOL
I hadn't noticed the UC music much. Wasn't it all techno-ish? As for the horror/suspense, I can agree, there really was never a sense of danger, but I kind of expected that. I use UC when I come home pissed off, going "gangsta" on some zombies with my Nyko Perfect Shot is therapeudic =)
