Positive? I love the GT series! Are you crazy!? I feel that Polyphony are getting a bit cocky and shouldn't take five years to create a full version of a game. This is exactly why I said the game better be a solid ten or else that five years was for nothing.

Positive? I love the GT series! Are you crazy!? I feel that Polyphony are getting a bit cocky and shouldn't take five years to create a full version of a game. This is exactly why I said the game better be a solid ten or else that five years was for nothing.

 

Just because the last GT installment was 5 years ago, you're automatically assuming they took 5 years for the development.

They've been working on 3 projects since GT4 came out. 2 of them are completed and the last one is expected to be out by 2009/early 2010.

 

Jan - Mar 2005 - GT4 released.

Feb - Jun 2006 - Tourist Trophy released.

Dec 2006 - Mar 2007 - GT:HD released.

Dec 2007 - Apr 2008 - GT5:Prologue released.

Oct 2009 - GT PSP release.

Well....GT5 isn't being released this month so what's your point?


My point is you can only count the time thats past... you cant just extend the time because you feel like it.

actually its not that close. the poll is totally unreliable.  when turn 10 stated bribing people, gt5 was as low as 43% and f3 57%. but i guess once the word got out the gt fans also started voting until gt took the lead.  it was increasing the lead until the poll closed.

That is... so wrong.

Have you even been following the recent "Forza 3 vs Gran Turismo 5" thing? If anyone is cocky, its the definative Turn 10.

And... as stated above, PD have been working on a number of different projects in this 5 years, so how do you know that GT5 itself has taken 5 years to create?

I'm jealous that 30,000 people were able to jump forward in time, play GT5 and FM3 thoroughly enough to make an objective decision about which is better, jump backwards to the present and vote on this poll so that the poll is accurate about the products themselves, as opposed to being excuses for fanboys to show that their pen... I mean game, is bigger.

Only thing this poll says is that GT fanbase is higher = more sales. But we already knew that.
