hahah hope it works because GT5 looks amazing... forza is a big upgrade of the last one but still comes up short (in the looks dept)

Gameplay wise GT5 has so many more features that its just hard for me not to laugh when turn 10 talks... they should just shut up.

Gran Turismo 5 may do around 6 million lifetime without bundling. I a better lso believe GT5 will be reviewed as history shows.

Well that's not gonna work, is it? GT is too big and Sony own the series, people won't stop buying it because of Forza.

PS3 has a very small install base. Projected lifetime sales is just 50 million consoles, compared to 130 million PS2s.

This will severely hurt Gran Turismo. GT4 sold 9.7 million. The small PS3 install base and competition from Forza 3 will probably shrink the GT5 sales to 5-6 million lifetime.

Forza 2 sold 4 million, Forza 3 will sell 5 million easily because it's a better game and the X360 is much more popular now than in 2007.

darth you really go the full monty with the threads you make. Gran Turismo is the one huge franchise MS cannot make multi-plat so naturally they want to cut down it's hardware and software selling potential. If it works is another question however I personally do not see it happening simply because of the Gran Turismo brand name. Greenwalt can blow his trumpet as much as he wants however it will not change the fact that Gran Turismo is a huge franchise even in the automobile industry.

Forza 3 without being a pack in will easily do 3 million because the game is such as step up from Forza 2 and on top of that the franchise is AAA standard. GT5 will come along and sell in a week what Forza 3 sells in a couple months and that would be a success for Forza 3. It's the name which Forza will never beat.........ever because the flag ship GT games are not going to take a big dip in quality.
