Forums - Gaming - Gran Turismo "dropped the ball," Forza there to "pick it up"

Its funny, there was a thread about top 3 favorite developers a while ago where I said Turn 10 was in my top 3. After E3 I rescind that statement, as they are extremely insecure, if they really thought they were the bees knees they should just leave Gran Turismo out of everything they say.

Concentrate on finishing/improving the game, not on badmouthing another game

Turn 10 really need to learn to stop calling their games better than Gran Turismo. Seriously its getting pathetic to take shots at a game that hasn't been released yet.

So says the company that says that Gran Turismo hasn't pushed the genre since GT4....and that was the last complete entry in the series.

smh, that's like saying that Halo hasn't pushed the FPS genre since Halo 3.....

these guys continually make me go

Just because they say something, it doesn't mean it's true.

Check out my game about moles ^

So did Gran Turismo drop the ball when GT3 sold just under 15 million or when GT4 has sold 9.65 million?

I don't see how they dropped the ball. It's more like Forza challenged them and Gran Turismo responded by adding damage, stunning graphics, nascar, and online racing.

no racing game can beat the GT series imo

Sony, start advertising GT5 now. Im getting bored of this group of children

It's not his call to be blunt. It's the critical and public reception and view that will determine this in the end.

On the other hand Turn 10 approach around E3 has me viewing them negatively from a professional perspective - I'm really not into this beating chest, grand statements stuff at all.

Right now GT has the sales and history to claim its 'definitive'. Forza is the pretender to the throne and I'd prefer they stuck to achieving results vs claiming them prior to the event.

I like everything I've seen about Forza 3 so far - but I'll be judging the game only, not PR 'fighting talk'.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
