LMAO@markers. That was great. Thread should be locked now. :D

merkers won the thread.
But seriously, a August pricecut... with a Fifa/Madden bundle, would be huge.

Stop posting that list! This is the third time! We get it! The 360 is getting a bunch of great games, along with a ton of multiplats and shovelware! Like every other console in existence!
He's right, of course. Droplitz and SpongeBob's Truth or Square will have a massive impact on 360 sales.

That's a great idea!
US bundle with Madden, EU bundle with Fifa, JP bundle with FF13. Those with a slim PS3 and a price cut would be huge, IMO.
Edit: For FF13 I was obviously talking a little bit farther down the line, however.

Atleast somebody get the point.

Oh, so around august all of sony's financial problems are going to dissolve and allow for them a price cut. face it sony can not afford a price cut
ahah, love how this thread went off-topic with the first reply...
on topic - it makes more sense to have it near October to build momentum into Xmas.
Any momemtum built too early could fizzle out before the holiday's

I think that a price cut in november would make more sense.....price cuts typically have the effect of giving really high sales for a couple of months and after that, well, sales to whatever the "new normal" will be. If Sony wants to take advantage of the holiday buying spree then they will make the price cut in november or october.
