Nobody is blaming the people who voted, and ironically, nobody is blaming the forum leadership. Instead, the are blaming the game coders, who probably don't even know about this, even now.

The Metacritic fan voting is entirely stupid. I know that and you know that. Although, there wasn't much cherring over here. Maybe a little laughter.

In a nutshell, yes, you're probably right.

All I know is that if I owned Forza 2, frequented the Forza forums and thought I was getting some free Forza 2 DLC I would be right there voting along with them.

I thought you implied it. I must have been wrong. That said, the laughing was obviously passive agressive sheer JOY from some of the fanboys on the net.

It was VERY stupid, but some love it. Some will love it if it happens here.

Anyway, I've posted too much in this thread. I'm gonna leave it for a while, and let others have their opinions heard, but most of the posts before mine were just gleeful bashing with incorrect presumptions, imo, so I hope the thread gets better.

Naturally, they only matter to the geeks to really care about X arbitrary internet poll. Or in this case, how many people think the game they're planning on buying is going to be favored by more people in said arbitrary internet poll.

And yes, it would seem a bit odd for someone who preferred the GT franchise to want an in game car for a game they presumably won't be buying, but then the whole (internet forum=logic) doesn't always work as most of us are well aware of.

I'll probably end up buying both anyway since one will be available this year and the other next year. Until I've played both extensively, I really don't have an opinion of which is "better."

What exactly is the bribe? A unicorn? Is that like an in game paint job? i didn't read the thread thoroughly, so forgive me if answered.

If it is an ingame car, wouldn't the people who are going to own the game, the only ones who would vote for it?

I mean, isn't it like a campaign promise? You vote for me, and I'll lower your taxes when I get in office?
