I definitely enjoyed it. Playing alone it sort of gets boring, but in a bigger group it was a lot of fun. We had like 8 people playing (in teams of 2) and that was a pretty good night. There's some games that are turned based, so you can share a controller, but other games need everyone to have a controller (IIRC - I haven't played it for a while). I'm definitely looking forward to the 2nd one this fall, especially since it's the Winter games.

Mario is in enough games. The guy is an all-rounder. I think he should stick to the thing he does best, platforming games.

He might be best at platforming but he has shown that he can shine a lot in other genres (aka Paper Mario).  Paper Mario on N64 and GCN were pretty bad ass.

I just came up with a idea. A mario punch out.

Not sure if now is the time for that since they just released Punch-Out!!  Perhaps next generation they could do something like that.  Many Punch-Out!! faithful would probably rather not see it but it would definitely sell more copies with Mario included.  Mario was ref in the first Punch-Out!! not too sure about Super Punch-Out!!  I have the game d/led but haven't played it yet because I want to beat or least get to Tyson (I mean Mr. Dream) on the original first.

Yea it would be pretty fun beating up goombas, koopas, etc..  It would also be fun to see Bowser cry when he lost his title bout.  They can probably put a lot more funny text / script into it.
