I spent quite a few years in germany, including when the game came out, so I've always pronounced it Ee-ko (though ee makes me think of a long sound, which isn't the case, I pronounce both syllables short).
So pretty much the way it sounds in Japanese.

I say Eye-ko. ryhmes with Micro .

The same way as it should be. Both of my native languages has little or no diphthongs, so "i" = "ee".

In France, most people do

Eye - ko

But I was always well aware that was incorrect. I just got used to saying Eye - ko

I thought "Trico" was actually "Toriko" or "Trikko".

So, Eye-ko, Nee-co, Trikko?

we pronounce i like ee in portugues, but I always said eye-co, as if it was in english.

and btw, I have always wanted to know the IPA (phonetic alphabet), one day I'll take my time to "study" it :P
