As for this week's numbers, standard stuff. No one should have been expecting a bump from inFamous, although that said I was pleasantly surprised to see a friend announce on facebook that he'd bought an inFamous PS3 bundle from GAME just the other day.

well halo 3 spiked the 360 sales 70k higher for the week. i wouldnt expect halo odst to move systems.

Well if you look at it this way.

He chose killzone 2 because the previous installment was average which caused a lot of people not to give the new one a second chance.. Ofcourse it did sell decently but still.

Then he chose infamous because it's a new IP in the summer so it's unlikely it'll sell that well.

Wii was clearly outselling PS360 last week too. This week all consoles went up, Wii a little more than the others. The big surge in Wiisales was last week and yes I think EA Sports Active helps.

Over the last few weeks it really seems that the industry has stopped plummeting, and that it is rather keeping it at roughly these sub-par levels.

no way.. PSP Go is a giant f'n ripoff... you can't believe that people would be stupid enough to go and buy that for 250... it probably cost 2/3's the price to make as a PSP3000 if not less

This is data for period before psp go price was annouced.

Still it's quite normal level of psp sales for us so this probably wasn't psp go effect.

Everyone knew PSP Go was going to be announced. The same way everyone is waiting for the new Iphone to be announced before decided on the Palm Pre and the 3G Iphone. If I didn't have a PSP yet, I would wait for the PSP Go.

As for the HD consoles. Don't expect sales to jump much until we get to August when Madden comes out. That's when the wave of what we all think will be  AAA titles will start rolling out. June/July don't have any system sellers. Some decent games, but none in the system seller category.
