People actually care about "Top XYZ" lists? That's just sad.

to me God Of war takes the Cake, Devil may cry games are okay-ish
the first one was unique but the second is crap, the third one felt like a combination of the second and the first, and the forth one is crap.

I took a month long vacation from work just so I wouldn't miss them as each entry was unveiled. I revolve my whole life around XYZ lists.

it's a list based on opinions, not the be all end all of video game greatness. simply put, not that many people were way into it.
With that being said, i thought the original was fantastic. haven't played any of the others, though.

I did, the first one is good, the fourth one is great, the third one is excellent. They wouldn't rank into my top 20, let alone top 5. And I feel the God of War series is a better Action-Adventure than DMC

I think 2 and 4 left bitter tastes in the mouths of gamers everywhere. And While One was awesome I wouldnt consider it a Top 100 game just because of the high cheese factor of that game. DMC3 though thats a different story

Yeah, the 1st DMC was a real breaktrough in 3d beat'em-ups... but my fav is 3... 2 and 4 are ok to :| It would deffinatly make my top 50 list ;)
