I'm sure film goers have different opinion on the Best Movie than the oscars

e.g. SW:EP3 = biggest box office hit in 2005.......but the oscar went to crash (I think)

I think it deserved it.

I'm not sure it'll be the best game of this lot when they launch, but the showing at E3 was very impressive.

That's a measure of internet buzz, and Project Natal isn't a game it's a new piece of tech that was sure to generate the most column inches after the show - i.e. buzz.  That has nothing to do with chosing the 'game of the show' which has to be an individual game.  Also, that's not gamers as it makes clear, its mentions in blogs, etc. - i.e. it is gamers, journos, tech sites, everything that has voiced an opinion on Project Natal.

There will be other choices for sure, Uncharted 2 won't get a clean sweep.  I would be surprised if it didn't get more than one mention though as it was clealy one of the absolute best titles shown.

FF Dissidia should have took PSP, as well as FFXIII taking RPG.

It was tough between those two.

After seeing Sony's press conference, I thought "Yeah, Uncharted's definitely the best". But then I saw the extra GoW3 footage which they cut out of the conference for some reason...wow. That blew away everything else, imo.

Uncharted 2 is a worthy winner, though. The graphics and animations are even better than before, stealth aspects have been improved, and it appears to be less linear.

I think that's intentional- they want to give awards to as many different games as possible.

They should have given best PS3 game to GoW3
