Oh goodie, another Forza versus GT thread >_>

How is Forza 3 innovating? I'm asking a question here, I really don't know much about the game other than it looks amazing.

Physics and whatnot. I'm sure any specific gameplay innovations mentioned here would just be marginalized and flamed, so I'll just leave it at that.

It's like if you ask how Nintendo innovated, and you said "motion controls" and everybody flamed you, talking about the eyetoy and some Tyko handheld videogame invented 10 years earlier.

It's like that, exactly like that. Naming the ways this game innovates is nothing but an invitation to attack them.

I think young grasshopper needs to take it down a notch. He thinks he has surpassed his teacher but his teacher barely even recognizes him as his pupil lol. GT is a force among racing games and still currently stands at the top of it's genre. Forza has proven to be a great alternative series for 360, but it doesn't have nearly the budget, hype, or sheer staying power of the tried, tested and proven GT series.

I think those are assumptions. I don't think you know if any of those things are even true. Sounds like buzz talk to me. It's a valid opinion, but those aren't facts. What is the budget for Forza 3, btw?

Couldn't tried and tested also lead to a refusal to change or experiement?

Nobody thinks that Forza 3 will approach GT5 in sales, but many believe it has already caught up to the series in quality, with Forza 2. I mean...Forza 2 was a better game than GT4, at least. GT4 missed the ball in a lot of ways. Check the reviews out for that one, or just play it.

Turn 10 is trying too hard, PD already got this, 1) GT5 looks better, 2) GT5 is obviously gonna utsell Forza 3 in the biggest racing region and in JP at least 2-1, 3) GT5 will outsell Forza 3 in America based on the NASCAR license alone 4) It's getting annoying so Turn 10, just STFU

Sales have nothing to do with quality, and since neither game has released, but you so blatantly claim that GT5 will absolutely look better(both games will look completely realistic, and it will be like comparing apples and oranges. Only technical experts will determine which one looks better), he can claim(and he knows more than you about it) that Forza 3 will PLAY better, which he did. I bet he thinks you are annoying as well.

GT5 will be better and play better as well, he doesn't even know me, so how could he think that? I think you're annoying.

He doesn't know how GT5 will play by the way and going by history, GT5 >>> Forza 3, but why am I wasting my time with you anyways? If they put your favorite game on a Sony console it would automatically suck.

It cracks me up how people all over the internet just assume that GT5 will be better than F3, especially since they haven't seen the latter. They both look completely realistic, but from what I've seen in the background images F3 looks better. But I've not seen enough to say either looks or plays better. I will say that I think GT has competition this time around!

forza 3 will run in 720p whilst gt5 in 1080p

gt5 will have more ply per car and have more cars to choose from.

gt5 as with gt5p usused pcm 7.1 uncompressed audio

8 cars on track vs 16 cars on track

gt5 also amazingly adds official wrc and nascar

gt5 adds offical manufacture race data into gt5 simulation eg. the nissan gtr

adding paint shop and swappage of liveries is not evolving.

both games will be good but gt5 will be better, gt5 will have far far the more game content and it wont dissapoint.
