Must be because the devs are lazy, right? I mean, isn't that the only reason L4D2 isn't going to be on PS3?
Hopefully now fanboys will realize how ridiculous it sounds using that claim as their default reaction to news of 360 getting exclusives.

LOL! This comment is just laughable.
It won't go multiplat because Sony and R* made an agreement on AGENT being exclusive. It has nothing to do with R* not wanting to port it or figure out the 360 hardware. They already made quite a few games on the 360 by the way.
Good reasoning though! I can see you're a very intelligent human! heh heh

Which is the same reason L4D2 won't appear on the PS3.
If EA really wanted it, they'd port it over like they did the Orange Box. I agree with what you're saying though infamous8, it's the agreement that will keep this game exclusive. But at the same time, De85 is right in that it's funny (or rather not funny) that when Sony gets an exclusive, it's an agreement out of good will, where as when MS gets an exclusive, it must have been moneyhatted.

Thank you for having the intelligence to understand what I was trying to say l instead of just literally interpreting every word.
For the record, I have no problem with sony moneyhatting games. If they made a deal with rockstar great for them. What I do have a problem with is the deluded sony fanboys who think devs work with sony out of the goodness of their hearts, but won't look at MS unless they;re getting paid to.

One could certainly argue that the PS3 has more untapped potential and ability for expansion in many ways over the 360 however and that some companies/developers interested in more of a challenge could look at the PS3 as a system to really push this untapped potential and make something spectacular or out of the ordinary.
I easily could see companies making games for the PS3 out of the goodness of their hearts because untapping the potential of the PS3 could be a very rewarding nugget for them. Where as the 360 is pretty much restricted at this point. The inclusion of Blu-Ray opens avenues and doors for developers that limit the 360.
In many ways, I find it similar to the PS2 / XBOX of last generation. I'm not so sure Microsoft money hatted Bioware or Bethesda to make games for the Xbox as much as these companies wanted to test out their game on a console with a little more untapped or under utilized potential.
